New buses

We've invested £1.6 million in brand new buses for our X9 and X10 services. Built in the United Kingdom, our brand new double deck buses are fitted with comfy leather seating, tables on the upper deck, extra seating capacity, USB connections and talking bus next stop announcements along with the free onboard WiFi. Our new buses are also fitted with the latest engineering technologies improving air quality and offering a smoother journey.

New timetable

As part of our upgrade, a new timetable was introduced on 3 September to improve the reliability of services X9 and X10 with buses still running from early morning until late at night. We've added in an earlier journey on a Sunday morning and have given the service more recovery time so we can deal with any delays on the A19 more effectively to reduce delays on following journeys.
