Viewing the timetable for service VOLTRA 54

Road closures for the Blaydon Race affecting services 10, 10A, 10B, 12, 53, 54 & Q3

Today 15:00 - 20:30

To allow the Blaydon Race to take place safely, there will be a number of road closures between Newcastle Quayside and Blaydon from 15:00 until 20:30 (approximately) on the evening of Tuesday 9th June.  Between these times there will be diversions in place on the following services.

In Newcastle between 15:00 & 20:30

VOLTRA 53 will operate between Market Street and Gateshead Quays via Tyne Bridge, omitting stops at the Hard Rock Cafe.  Please catch your bus from Grey Street.

VOLTRA 54 will operate between Gateshead Interchange and Newcastle Market Street via Tyne Bridge & Pilgrim Street, omitting stops at Gateshead Quays, the Hard Rock Cafe & Dean Street.  Please catch your bus from Gateshead Interchange.

Voltra Q3 will operate between City Road and Pilgrim Street via City Road, omitting stops at Newcastle Quayside, the Hard Rock Cafe & Dean Street.  Please catch your bus from bus stops on City Road.

Service 12 between 18:15 & 20:30 will be unable to operate via Scotswood Road or Newcastle business park and will run non stop and omit stops between Central Station and Blaydon bus station. 


In Blaydon between 17:15 & 20:30

Services 10, 10A, 10B & 12 will be unable to serve stops at Derwenthaugh Marina, Chainbridge Road or Blaydon Morrisons.  Please catch your bus from Riverside Way near the Holiday Inn Express or Blaydon bus station.

Services 49, 49A & 69 will be unable to serve bus stops at Blaydon Morrisons, please catch your bus from Shibdon Road or Blaydon bus station.
