Significant disruption in Newcastle due to Tyne Bridge closure
From 23rd October to 2nd November, the Tyne Bridge will be fully closed to traffic, causing major disruption to the Go North East network.

Buses are unable to serve the stops on Fern Drive between March Road and East View Terrace. Please catch your bus from Fern Drive near Annitsford Drive.
Road closure at Throckley affecting service 684

Buses on service 684 will be unable to serve stops between Throckley and Lemington Road Ends between 09:30 & 15:30 each day from Saturday 24th October.
Buses will divert via Ponteland Road and the A69 resuming normal route at Lemington Road Ends.
Road closure at Western Way affecting service 74

Buses on service 74 will be unable to serve stops at Western Way and Woodside between 08:00 & 16:00 each weekday from Monday 26th October until Friday 6th November. Buses will divert via High Callerton and resume normal route at Woodside.
Road closure at Ovington affecting service 684

Buses will be unable to serve stops between the A69 and Castle View in Ovingham from Saturday 24th to Saturday 31st October between 08:00 & 17:00 (except for Sunday 25th October) while Northumberland County Council carry out essential maintenance at Ovington. Service 684 will divert between the A69 and Ovingham via Gallowhill Lane. A free shuttle bus provided by Northumberland County Council will operate between Ovington and Ovingham, connecting with service 684 at Ovingham.

Buses on services 16 & 16B and school bus SB9 will be diverted from start of service on Monday 19th october until end of service on Friday 6th November while Avon Road is closed for works.
Service 16 and school bus SB9 will not serve Tyne Road or Avon Road and will instead operate along the whole length of Durham Road, with SB9 resuming normal route at St Stephen's Church..
Service 16B will not serve Tyne Road, Avon Road or the section of Durham Road between Hollyhill Gardens East and Avon Road. Buses will operate along Hollyhill Gardens East & West.
Buses will observe all stops while on diversion.
Stand B closure at Bishop Auckland Bus Station affecting service X21

Following an accident at Hetton le Hole, the bus stop for services towards Hetton Interchange has been removed and replaced with a temporary stop.
Please use the temporary stop until further notice.
Road closure at Dilston affecting services 10 & X85

Buses on services 10 & X85 will be unable to serve bus stops at Dilston Cemetery and Bridge End from Monday 22nd June until Tuesday 22nd December. Buses will divert via the A695 and Station Road in both directions.
Stanley Bus Station Refurbishment

From 7th April, Stanley Bus Station will be undergoing a major refurbishment. During this time, certain stands will be out of use and as such your bus may depart from a different stand from normal. Please refer to signage located within the station for more information.

Buses on service 50 will be unable to serve stops on Downhill Lane between Newcastle Road and Washington Road from 08:00 - 17:00 on Monday 2nd & Tuesday 3rd November while South Tyneside Council carry out essential safety works. Buses will divert via Newcastle Road and the A19 serving all stops on the diversionary route.
