This October half-term sees the return of Halloween evenings at Beamish, a spine-tingling experience where the museum is transformed into the 'Un-living Town of North'.

Its cobbled Edwardian street is home to more than just their townsfolk at Halloween, meet the newest inhabitants and enjoy some enthralling fun across the museum.

Hexham

Head to Brockbushes Farm for their biggest and best pumpkin picking experience yet. From pumpkin picking and carving, to rides, attractions and a range of food vendors, there is something for the whole family.

This year the team have planted over 160,000 pumpkins of various shapes, sizes and colours, all of which are edible as well as decorative.
