Kids Go Free this Easter!

There are so many activities across the North East for families to enjoy during the Easter holidays... plus, Kids 11 and under travel for free 3 - 19 April when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket or pass!

 

Stephenson Steam Railway  

Hop aboard the Easter Eggspress at Stephenson Steam Railway. You can enter the museum for free and participate in free Easter craft making. Take part in the Easter trail around the museum for £1 to win a chocolate egg prize.

 

Beamish 

Enjoy an egg-cellent Easter at Beamish Museum, travelling back in time to discover how Easter was celebrated in the past.

Plus, if you travel to Beamish on a Go North East service, you will receive 25% off a standard individual Beamish Unlimited Pass when you display your valid bus ticket.

 

Life Centre

Dinosaurs have taken over Newcastle’s Life Science Centre this Easter. Follow the trail around the centre to hunt down the dinosaurs, use the dino facts you uncover along the way and see if you can crack the code. With dinosaur-themed live shows, hands-on making activities and experiments, as well as tons of other exhibits and activities to explore, there is something for the whole family to enjoy.

Kids Fest K-Pop Party at St. James' STACK

On 8 April, STACK is hosting a Kids K-Pop Party, packed with interactive games and high-energy dance-alongs and a special appearance from the K-Pop Demon Hunters! Kid's admission is just £3. Spanish City Easter Funfair

The annual fair returns from 3 - 9 April. Expect all of your favourite funfair rides - waltzers, dodgems and the ghost train, plus Easter eggs, facepainting and entertainment on Easter Sunday. Big Easter Egg Hunt at Dalton Park

Head to Dalton Park on 4 April for their for their free Big Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter bunny will get the little ones ready for the hunt ahead with their very own map and bunny ears to set off on the adventure. Children will complete clues follow the map and complete clues along the way to win a cuddly prize. The hunts start hourly between 10am and 4pm from Guest Services next to the Play Park. Easter Party at Sheepfold Stables Sunderland

This Easter Party on 3 April promises magical moments for the whole family, with the Easter Bunny, Mickey in his Easter outfit, Alice in Wonderland and plenty of music and dancing. All children over the age of one and adults require a ticket, find out more and book on the Sheepfolds website.
