Road closure at Team Street and Askew Road West affecting services 6, 10, 10A, 10B, 47 & X66
Buses will be unable to serve stops at Team Street and Askew Road West between 18:00 & 06:00 the following morning on the evenings of Tuesday 14th, Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th July. Buses towards Newcastle will divert via Clockmill Road, Derwentwater Road and the A184 on journeys towards Newcastle, serving all stops, including the stop at the end of the Redheugh Bridge (on the slip road). Buses from Newcastle will serve the stop at the bottom of Cuthbert Street then divert via the A184, Derwentwater Road and Clockmill Road, serving all stops on diversion. Buses on service X66 will divert via Clockmill Road, Derwentwater Road and the A184 in both directions. Towards Metro Centre, buses will serve the bus stop at the bottom of Cuthbert Street.
Roadworks at Bridgehill affecting service 47
Buses on service 47 towards Newcastle can not serve stops at Chaytor Road and Pleasant View due to roadworks making the road to narrow for two vehicles to pass safely.
Buses will operate along Pemberton Road and Durham Road, serving all stops on the diversionary route.
School buses SB2 & SB3 in the afternoon will operate via Chaytor Road before serving Pemberton Road. SB2 will terminate at Pemberton Road while SB3 will continue to Medomsley.
