Road closure at Hawkeys Lane affecting service 317
Buses on service 317 will be diverted from 18:00 until the end of service on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th October while North Tyneside Council carry out essential maintenance at Hawkeys Lane. Buses will divert between Hawkeys Lane and North Shields town centre via Queen Alexandra Road, Preston Road and Albion Street, serving all stops while on diversion.
Diversion - Redheugh Bridge
Due to High Winds, buses are unable to operate via Redheugh Bridge. The following diversions apply to double decked vehicles only.
Services departing the Metrocentre will turn left at Gas Works, operating the Match Day Diversion via Centrelink going into Newcastle, and operating via High Level Bridge on return journeys
Services operating from Gateshead Interchange will operate via Bottle Bank into Newcastle and normal route on departures.
Please allow additional time for travel, as services are likely to see delays due to traffic levels from the Tyne Bridge closure.

Buses on service 301 will be diverted from 18:00 until the end of service on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th October while North Tyneside COuncil carry out essential maintenance at Percy Park Road. Buses will divert between Albion Road and Tynemouth sea front via Linskill Terrace, King Edward Road and Percy Park, serving all stops on the diversionary route.
