Minor service changes from Sunday 11 May 2025

There are some minor service changes taking place from Sunday 11 May 2025 in Sunderland and Washington, to improve service punctuality.

They are as follows:

Service 8 Stanley – Chester-le-Street – Washington – Sunderland
Minor timetable changes to improve service punctuality, especially at peak times.

Service 50 Durham – Chester-le-Street – Washington – Boldon – South Shields
Minor timetable changes to improve service punctuality.

Service 79 Barnwell Estate – Hall Lane Estate
Following changes to Nexus contracts, this service will no longer be operated by Go North East, with the service moving to Northstar. The timetable can be viewed here.

Service 81 Sunderland – Washington – Gateshead
Minor timetable changes on Sundays.

Service 82 QE University Hospital – Washington – Waterview Park
Following changes to Nexus contracts, this service will no longer be operated by Go North East, with the service moving to Gateshead Central Taxis. Their timetables can be found here.

Service 84/85 Coach Road Estate – Concord Circular services
Minor timetable changes to improve service punctuality, especially at peak times.
