The St. Bede’s 7-day and 28-day tickets can be used at any time of day Monday to Fridays during St. Bede’s school term times, on any Go North East local bus service, perfect if needing to connect between buses to get to or from school.
Tickets bought in the app need to be activated before use. Once activated, the QR code displayed needs to be scanned on the ticket machine when getting on the bus.
Single tickets can be bought on the bus from the driver using either cash or contactless debit card. If you are buying a single fare from the driver, please remember to collect your ticket.

- SB1 from Blackhill, Consett and Leadgate, via Number One
This service runs non-stop between Leadgate The Wheatsheaf/Co-op and St. Bede’s School, in both directions. The stops on Durham Road in Leadgate are service by service SB2.
- SB2 from Bridgehill, Black Hill and Leadgate, via Number One
- SB3 from Medomsley Edge & Shotley Bridge via Bridgehill, Blackhill & Delves Lane
- SB4 from Shotley Bridge & Blackhill via Delves Lane
- SB5 from Templetown & Delves Lane via Knitsley
- SB6 from Rowlands Gill & Ebchester via Leadgate & Annfield Plain
- SB7 from Castleside & Moorside via The Grove
This service runs non-stop between Fell Coke Works and St. Bede’s School, in both directions.
- SB8 from Stanley, Tanfield Lea & Dipton via Burnopfield & Catchgate
- SB9 from from Stanley & South Stanley via South Moor & Annfield Plain
- SB10 from East Stanley & Stanley via Shield Row & Annfield Plain
- X5 & X15 from Castleside & Moorside calling at Consett
These buses aren’t dedicated school buses and don’t go into St. Bede’s School grounds, but they do stop near to the school:
- X5 & X15 from Durham & Witton Gilbert
- 6 from Burnopfield & Tanfield Lea calling at Stanley & South Moor
