Discounts for everyone aged between 5 and 25
We have discounted day, weekly and monthly tickets available to everyone aged from 5 up to and including 25, and a flat single fare available for anyone aged 21 and under.
Our discounted tickets are available to everyone aged from 5-year-old up to and including 25-year-old - and you can save up to a whopping 30% on the equivalent adult all zones ticket prices.
To buy these tickets on the app, customers will need to verify their age first, and ID may also be requested by the Driver when buying or using these tickets.

| Under 19 - School Tripper | £15 | Only available on the Go North East app. The safe and secure way to buy travel to school or college. Available to anyone aged under 19, the School Tripper is available to use between 7am and 9am, and 2pm and 5pm Monday to Friday in term times. If you're travelling outside of these times our range of great value 5 to 25 tickets will have you covered. |

| Family Day Ticket | £18.00 | Valid for one day across the whole Go North East network (excluding Toon Tour, Tide Tour, X50, 327 or R1). Covers up to two adults and three children under 16, with a minimum of one adult and one child required at all times. |
*This fare may not be available on a small number of special services, such as the Toon Tour open-top sightseeing bus, 327 Port of Tyne shuttle, and Match Day Park & Ride services.
ID may be requested at any time
Our young people’s discounts are valid for 5 to 25 year olds, but please don’t forget you may need to show your ID when buying or using these tickets.
Any of these forms of ID can be used as proof of age when requested: a Passport (UK or International), proof of age cards with a PASS logo (e.g. a CitizenCard or Young Scot card), a driving licence or provisional driving licence (UK or EU), EU national identity card, a NHS Medical Card, Stagecoach U19 ID card, Nexus U16 Pop card, Arriva North East Teen Card or Network One Young Persons ID card.
If you’re travelling in school uniform or travelling to and from school/college on dedicated services you won’t be asked to show ID.
