Blyth Beach

Stroll along Blyth Beach and head through the dunes until you reach Seaton Sluice. Look out for the beach huts along the way and make sure to stop off at Coastline cafe for some fish and chips or an ice cream!
Whitley Bay Beach

Whitley Bay hosts a golden sand Blue Flag award-winning beach situated next to Spanish City where you can find a variety of food spots and shops. Head towards St Mary’s Lighthouse where you can go rock pooling and you may even spot some seals!
Silverlink Biodiversity Park

Take a walk through Silverlink’s Biodiversity Park and stroll around the pond at west allotment. The reserve hosts several habitats, including woodland, grassland, wetland, and rock areas. Make sure to climb up to the sundial where you can find views of St Mary's Lighthouse, Penshaw Monument and Newcastle City on a clear day.
Jesmond Dene

Jesmond Dene is a public park with woodland, waterfalls and a collection of paths, connecting the dene to neighbouring Ouseburn parks. You will also find a pets corner which is home to goats, sheep, peacocks, rabbits, and more.
