March Service Changes

Your guide to our service changes from Sunday 22 March 2026

We're introducing changes to our services across North Tyneside, Newcastle, South Tyneside & Gateshead from Sunday 22 March 2026.

What's new?

  • Changes to Coast Road services/ticketing
  • Morning peak changes to services 91 and 94
  • New timetables to improve reliability across many services
  • The addition of routes 787 and 333 to the Go North East network

How did feedback from customers influence these changes?

Before finalising these service changes, we invited our passengers and stakeholders to share their feedback on the proposed routes and timetables.  Thank you very much to everyone who shared their thoughts, your feedback has had a positive impact on our plans:

Service 91A – After concerns that existing connections would no longer be possible following our proposed changes, we have adjusted some departure times of the new 91A service to ensure current links from the east of Newcastle are still able to be made.

Service 307/309 – Following your feedback, the 23:45 309 Haymarket departure has been retained Monday-Saturday. We will also be maintaining our current Saturday frequency at during core daytime hours.

Service 356 – This service will continue to serve Monkseaton following feedback that our proposed rerouting would have negatively impacted the area.
