We're proud to be a Living Wage employer

This week, 10 - 16 November, is Living Wage Week. It’s a chance to celebrate the difference paying a fair wage makes.

Our Living Wage Foundation accreditation signifies our commitment to fair pay and ensures all 1,800 of our colleagues receive a wage above the government's minimum standards.

Ben Maxfield, our Business Director, joined leaders from across the North East’s business community, public sector, and civil society at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art on 11 November to celebrate the difference the Real Living Wage is making.

Ben says: "We’re proud to be a Living Wage Employer - it demonstrates our commitment to paying every single colleague at Go North East a fair wage which reflects the actual cost of living. We're celebrating this with new Living Wage designs on our buses.

"We want everyone in the North East to know that we value our colleagues, present and future, and remain dedicated to paying them a wage that truly reflects the value of their work."
