We at Go North East are the North East’s largest bus company and for over a century have been transporting people across the region. Overall, we have nearly 1500 employees and operate a fleet of over 500 vehicles.
Shifts: 38 hours Monday to Friday.
Location: Consett Depot
Duties and Responsibilities:
- All aspects of stores work in an engineering parts environment, including Goods Inward and Outward, Stock Checking, Housekeeping, Parts Identification and keeping the stores as efficient as possible.
- Using the Oracle, Nexala and Outlook system to order, monitor requisitions, issue parts and communicate with suppliers.
- Manage Service Exchange and Warranty process.
- Stock control and monitor parts trends for high and low usage.
- Contact suppliers and internal staff to ensure correct part numbers are achieved.
- Arranging collection of Parts.
- Monitor oils, Antifreeze & Screen-wash stocks levels.
- Assist in Health & Safety Inspections.
Person Specification
- Full UK driving licence.
- Positive and flexible approach to problem solving.
- Computer basic literacy is essential.
- Stores experience preferred, however training will be provided for a suitable candidate.
