Road closure at Redheugh Bridge affecting services 6, 10, 10A, 10B, 47, 53 & 301
Buses between Teams, Dunston & Newcastle will be diverted between 18:00 on Sunday 27th until 05:00 on Monday 28th September while works are carried out on the Redheugh Bridge. Services 6, 10, 10A, 10B & 47 towards Newcastle will not serve stops at Askew Road West or Askew Road and will divert via Centrelink between Team Street and Newcastle. Customers travelling from Askew Road West to Newcastle can use service 53 from the opposite side of the road or use services from Team Street.
Service 53 will not serve the stop at Askew Road near the Shell Garage and will divert between Cuthbert Street and Newcastle via Askew Road West and Centrelink serving stops on Askew Road West.
Service 301 will be unable to serve the stop on Askew Road and will operate the usual matchday diversion via Swing Bridge and Forth Banks, serving all stops while on diversion.
Road closure at Dilston affecting services 10 & X85
Buses on services 10 & X85 will be unable to serve bus stops at Dilston Cemetery and Bridge End from Monday 22nd June until Tuesday 22nd December. Buses will divert via the A695 and Station Road in both directions.
Diversion - Swalwell
Police have closed the road near Blaydon Tennis Club due to an incident. As a result the X45 and 47 will operate via Mill Lane and Chainbridge Road, customers wishing to travel to/from Swalwell, please transfer at Metrocentre onto the 49/49A
