The Soccer Bus returns for 2026/27 season
The X50 Soccer Bus service returns for Newcastle's first home match against Liverpool on Sunday 28 August 2026, offering a convenient Park & Ride service and easy access to the stadium.
The X50 offers a direct link between the Metrocentre Coach Park, where you will find free, dedicated car parking spaces, and St James' Park. The service is available throughout the 2026/27 season on Newcastle United home match days.

The new X40 Soccer Bus service will be starting on Saturday 5 September for Newcastle's home game against Bournemouth. Following this game, the service will be available for every home match during the 2026/27 season.
This new shuttle service offers a direct link between Great Park Park & Ride, Gosforth and St James' Park.
- Adults - £1.50 single or £2.00 return (buy on the bus or in advance on the app)
- 21 & under - £1 single
- Magpie Movers are valid on this service, but no other pre-purchased tickets can be used (which includes Network One passes, Go North East adult, 5 to 25 tickets, and concessionary passes)
- No charge for parking – just pay for your bus ticket as you board the bus
- Cash or contactless accepted on the bus
Who can get the shuttle service?
Both shuttle bus services are open to everyone (both home and away fans) and no special tickets are needed, just turn up and go!
What if the game goes to extra time?
In the event of added/extra time or a match delay, departure times will be pushed back accordingly.
