Service changes from 21 July 2024 – important information about the 67 and 69 routes.

We are pleased to let you know that starting Sunday, 21 July 2024, Go North East will take over the 67 and 69 bus routes. Here’s what you need to know:

The 67 and 69 buses will keep running between the QE hospital and Wardley, thanks to funding from Nexus and the support of local councillors. This means there will continue to be east-west links across Gateshead from early until late, seven days a week.

Go North East will also operate early morning, evening, and Sunday trips for these routes. The route and timetables will stay the same; only the operator will change from Gateshead Central Taxis to Go North East.

Customers can benefit from Go North East’s wide range of great-value tickets, which allow travel across Gateshead and further afield in the region.
