Road closures in Newcastle impacting City Centre services

There will be a number of roads closed in Newcastle on Wednesday 5 November, impacting some City Centre services between 5:15pm and 7pm.

• Eldon Square services via the Redheugh Bridge - 6/10/10A/10B/12/47/X30/X31/X45/X71/X73, will terminate at Clayton Street West, and resume from Central Station. This stop is a roughly 15-minute walk from Eldon Square where these services usually operate from- so please leave plenty of time to make your journey. This diversion also applies for service 684 and service X70.

• Eldon Square services via Gateshead - 21/22/28/29/X1/X10/X21/X32/X72 (except service X70), will start and end at Eldon Square as timetabled, but omit will stop on Newgate Street in both directions. The stops on John Dobson Street (heading into Newcastle) and High Level Bridge North End (heading out of Newcastle) will be served as planned.

• Market Street services via Gateshead - 27/56/57/58/91/301, will serve Market Street East as timetabled, but will omit Market Street West. The stop on High Level Bridge North End (heading out of Newcastle) will be served as planned.

• Services 53 and 54 will omit Granger Street, Market Street and Grey Street, but will serve all other city centre stops as planned.

• All other city centre routes - 74,307,309,352,354,355,356, Q3, X39, will be operating as usual but may be subject to delays subject to city centre traffic.
