Price changes for multi-operator tickets

From Sunday 12 July 2025 the prices of Network One and Explorer North East multi-operator tickets will change. There are no changes to any other ticket prices, including the Durham Day Rover, Northumberland Day Rover, or TNE Day Saver. The new prices are shown below.

Student 7-day and 28-day tickets

To use student tickets (which can only be bought in the Go North East app or direct from Network One), from 13 July customers must verify their student status in the Go North East app.

Network One tickets are multi-operator tickets that can be used on all local buses in a chosen zone, as well as the Metro, the Shields Ferry, and the Sunderland-Blaydon rail line in some zones.

Explorer North East day tickets can be used on the Metro, the Shields Ferry, the Sunderland-Blaydon rail line, and all local buses across the whole of the North East of England. Local buses can be used as far south as Scarborough and Whitby in North Yorkshire, as far north as Berwick-upon-Tweed, and as far west as Carlisle in Cumbria.
