Revised route and timetable

26th Jan 2025 onwards

This service has been revised to run every 20 minutes on an amended route in Barnwell.

Service 2A will be withdrawn and service 2 will continue to serve Barnwell.

This service no longer serves Biddick or Shiney Row:

Customers in Biddick should use services 4 or 84/85 to connect at Washington Galleries.
Customers in Shiney Row should use services X1 and 4 to Washington Galleries, or 78 to Sunderland.
Service 8 will continue to provide a direct link from Fatfield to Sunderland
Barnwell Estate and Harraton customers will benefit from more frequent buses, up to every 20 minutes.

The section of route between Sunderland, Grangetown and Silksworth will be served by routes 61, 62/A and 63.
