Launch of cheaper all day adult tickets

Go North East has teamed up with Transport North East, local transport authorities, and other bus operators to save you money on all-day bus tickets! 

These tickets can be used in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, and County Durham.

The day saver ticket can also be used on the Metro, Shields Ferry, and the Northern Rail services between Blaydon and Sunderland. 

The new, cost-saving tickets are:

• £6.80 TNE Day Saver: Valid all day across Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, and County Durham on any bus, Metro, Shields Ferry, and Northern Rail services between Blaydon and Sunderland. 

• £6.00 Tyne and Wear Day Rover: Valid all day for unlimited bus, metro and ferry travel in Tyne and Wear, and Northern Rail services between Blaydon and Sunderland.  

• £5.00 Northumberland Day Rover: Valid all day for unlimited bus travel in Northumberland.  

• £4.00 Durham Day Rover: Valid all day for unlimited bus travel in County Durham. 

Please note that some services may not offer these fares including tour buses and match day services.
