Go North East gifts laptops to Chopwell Primary School

Last week we donated 27 laptops to the lovely children of Chopwell Primary School!

The laptops can no longer be updated with the latest software that our teams need but they will be a welcome addition to the classroom for both teachers and pupils at Chopwell Primary.

The laptops will be particularly helpful for children with special education needs and children without access to a computer.

Steven Elstob, Finance Director at Go North East, said: ““It was a pleasure to meet the children from Chopwell Primary today and see how excited they are about their new laptops.

“It’s brilliant that children in our local community – many of our buses stop just metres from the school – will be able to give these laptops a second life.”

Jazzle said: “As an IT-lover, I would love to get into some coding and use the laptops for our computing lessons. Thank you Go North East!”
