On Wednesday 12th November, we celebrated our excellent colleagues who were shortlisted for the first ever Go Ahead Gold Awards in London.

Go Ahead Gold Awards 2025 - Customer Excellence Champion Winner

A huge congratulations to Ellie-Mae North who won the Customer Excellence Champion award! 🏅

In just two years, Ellie has risen from a secondment into a permanent leadership role as the Customer Service Team Manager.

She leads a small team that handles over 70,000 queries per year across a range of channels, and she continuously embodies the Go-Ahead values of caring for customers and caring for communities.

Her team describe her as a 'true customer hero' and 'a manager whose style makes it a pleasure to work in Customer Services,' - a reflection of how deserving she is of this award.
