If you're making a one-off journey or making two journeys between the same places, we have adult single and return fares available to buy on the bus from the driver.
If you're aged 21 and under, we have a great value £1.00 single fare on the majority of services – ID required for anyone aged 16 and over, or anyone who looks older.
If you're making three or more journeys in a day then a day ticket offers great value-for-money - prices start from £4.30. If you need to use different bus operators or the Metro or Ferry, then a Day Rover or Day Saver ticket will best meet your needs.
If you're travelling regularly then a 7-day, 28-day or Flexi-5 ticket will best suit your needs. We offer a wide range of tickets that cover different parts of our network, with prices starting from just £15.50 for a week's travel.
Young People's tickets
Go North East's 5-25 range of tickets can be used on on most Go North East buses across the whole region by anyone aged 25 and under. If you're aged 21 and under, you can buy TNE's £1 single fare or £3 day ticket on our app. The £1 single can be used for any single journey on Go North East buses in Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Northumberland - the £3 day ticket allows unlimited travel in the same areas on all operators' local bus service, and can also be used on the Metro and Shields Ferry.

This ticket gives you 5 individual day tickets to use over 3 months. Valid on most Go North East services for those aged 5-25 inclusive; ID needed.
After uploading your photo, you'll need to verify your entitlement before you can use your ticket. This may take up to 48 hours, but you'll only need to do it once. Once verified, you can use your ticket without needing to carry ID.
Adult Flexi-5 Tickets
Flexi-5 is a bundle of five individual day tickets that can be used at any time over a 6-month period. By buying your day tickets in this flexible bundle, you'll save money against the cost of buying individual day tickets. Perfect for those who only need to travel occasionally.
