  • Road closure at John Dobson Street affecting services 27, 56, 57, 58, 97 & N21

    Buses operating in Newcastle City Centre will be further diverted while Bamburgh House is demolished.  Between 19:00 & 06:00 the following morning on Monday to Thursday evenings for approximately 6 weeks from Monday 17th October.

    Services 27, 56, 57, 58, 97 & N21 will be unable to set down customers at Worswick Street and will operate direct to Market Street West.

  • Bus stop closed at Askew Road, Gateshead

    Due to ongoing works, the bus stop at Askew Road between Wellington Street and Tyne Bridge is closed. Please catch your bus from Gateshead Interchange.

  • Closure of Market Street East in Newcastle affecting services 27, 56, 57, 58, 97 & N21

    12th Oct 2022 - 11th Dec 2022

    The ongoing development works on Pilgrim Street are due to reach their next phase, which will see Market Street East temporarily close in both directions from Monday 8 August and will re-open on Monday 12th December.

    Services 27, 56, 57, 58, 97 and N21 will stop on Worswick Street (only to drop passengers off) in place of of Market Street East, before doing a loop via John Dobson Street, New Bridge Street West and Pilgrim Street to serve bus stops on Market Street.
