via University Hospital of North Durham, Arnison Centre, Waldridge, Chester-le-Street, Rickleton, Ayton, Lambton, Washington, Concord, Nissan, Boldon ASDA, Whiteleas Estate and Chichester

  • Road closure at Westoe Road affecting services 24, 25, 25A. 26, 27 & 50

    Buses will be diverted between 08:00 & 18:00 on Sunday 26th October while South Tyneside Council carry out essential maintenance on Westoe Road.  Stops on Westoe Road, Imeary Street & Chichester Road will not be served.  Additionally, stops on Dean Road will not be served by services 25, 25A & 27.

    Service 24 will divert from Sunderland Road via Dean Road, Laygate, Western Approach & Crossgate accessing South Shields Interchange via Fowler Street.  From South Shields buses will omit Crossgate and operate via Western Approach, Laygate & Dean Road, rejoining normal route at Sunderland Road. 

    Services 25, 25A, 26, 27 & 50 will divert from Chichester via Laygate, Western Approach & Crossgate accessing South Shields Interchange via Fowler Street.  From South Shields buses will omit Crossgate and operate via Western Approach & Laygate rejoining normal route at Chichester.
