  • Long term roadworks at Greenford Lane affecting service 29

    Buses on service 29 will be diverted from first bus on Monday 14th August while Northumbrian Water carry out upgrades to the sewerage system which will mean Greenford Lane between Ouston and Lamesley will be closed.  Buses will divert between Ouston and Lamesley via Birtley.  As a result of the extra journey time to complete this diversion and additional traffic diverted from Greenford Lane, buses on service 29 will not serve Kibblesworth.  Kibblesworth will be served by a shuttle bus, service 29S which will run between Kibblesworth and Team Valley Sainsbury's.  To view the revised timetable for service 29 copy and paste this into your browser: https://www.gonortheast.co.uk/services/GNE/28?date=2023-08-14&direction=outbound
