Sunderland Road bus link is closed due to works associated with the demolition of the flyover. Buses on service 27 towards South Shields will operate via Jackson Street, High Street and Sunderland Road, serving the bus stops near Chad House. Buses towards Gateshead & Newcastle will operate the full length of Sunderland Road and then join the current diversion via High West Street, serving the bus stop at the Civic Centre.
