  • Road closure at Imeary Street, South Shields affecting services 5, 20 & 27

    6th Mar 2022 - 3rd Apr 2022

    Buses towards South Shields on services 5, 20 & 27 will be unable to serve bus stops on Imeary Street between Dean Road and Chichester Road on Sundays only from 6th March until 3rd April between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.  Additionally, services 5 & 27 will be unable to serve stops on Dean Road between Chichester Road and Imeary Street.  If you're travelling from Dean Road to the town centre, use service 20 from the opposite side of the road, alternatively catch services 5, 20 & 27 from bus stops on Chichester Road.

  • Overnight closures of Gateshead High Street affecting services 27, 51, 52, 56, 57 & 58

    15th - 19th Mar 2022

    Buses on services 27, 51, 52, 56, 57 & 58 will be unable to serve the bus stops at Jackson Street or High Street each evening from 20:00 until 04:00 the following morning on the evenings of Tuesday 15th March until Friday 18th March.  Please catch your bus from Gateshead Interchange or High West Street near the former Gloucester public house.
