Record Store Day will take place on Saturday 23rd April 2022.
Record Store Day is the one day of the year when over 260 independent record shops all across the UK come together to celebrate their unique culture. Special vinyl releases are made exclusively for the day and many shops and cities host artist performances and events to mark the occasion. Thousands more shops celebrate the day around the globe in what’s become one of the biggest annual events on the music calendar.
Whether you're a seasoned veteran, or looking to attend for the first time, there's a wide range of independent record shops across the North East for you to attend.
In Newcastle you have Reflex, Beyond Vinyl, Vinyl Guru, Beatdown Records, RPM Music and JG Windows taking part.
There's also Hot Rats Records in Sunderland and Sound It Out Records in Stockton.
Make sure you get down early on the day as the popular records often sell out quickly!
