Kynren in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, is a massive live-action historical show. The 2026 season runs from July 18 to September 12 and now features both the famous night show, An Epic Tale of England, and a brand-new daytime historical theme park, The Storied Lands.
The Night Show: An Epic Tale of England This is an immersive, 90-minute evening show using a 7.5-acre stage. You will see 2,000 years of British history, featuring Roman soldiers, Viking raids, jousting knights, and pyrotechnics.
The New Daytime Park: The Storied Lands This is the UK's first live-action show park. Instead of traditional roller coasters, you get six immersive live shows.
The daytime park is open from Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays) between 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM
