There's so much to do in Durham city but visiting the World Heritage Site of the Cathedral and Castle is a must!

Built in 1903 to house the Shrine of St Cuthbert, Durham Cathedral is renowned for its magnificent Romanesque architecture and spectacular locations. It's the oldest surviving building with a stone vaulted ceiling of such a large scale.

We also run the Durham Cathedral bus in and around Durham city centre, making it easier for you to get around.
