Getting there from Durham

Travelling from Durham is easy. Simply catch Angel 21, X-lines X21 or service 50 to Chester-le-Street and connect with Coast & Country 8 or 78A, or services 28 and 28A.

Getting there from Newcastle and Gateshead

Services 28 and 28A run up to every 30 minutes from Newcastle City Centre and Gateshead throughout the week, serving Saltwell Road (28A), Kibblesworth (28A), Old Durham Road (28) Wrekenton (28), Birtley, Ouston and Pelton, as well as running from Chester-le-Street and Pelton Fell in the opposite direction.

Getting there from Sunderland

Coast & Country 8 buses run up to every 30 minutes Monday-Saturday from Sunderland City Centre, serving Washington, Chester-le-Street and Pelton, as well as running from Stanley in the opposite direction. Coast & Country 78A buses run throughout the day on a Sunday from Sunderland City Centre.
