Fancy a fabulous day out down on the North Yorkshire coast? Our quick Seasider X11 service will give you about 7 hours in Whitby or 6 in Scarborough, or you could spend a bit of time in each.
The service is operated by one of our premium X-lines double-deck buses, taking you to Whitby and Scarborough in style from Newcastle, Gateshead, Heworth, Washington Galleries, Peterlee, Billingham and Middlesbrough.
Includes a free ride on the Beachcomber open-top bus that runs all along Scarborough seafront if you show your X11 ticket – read more below.

Seasider X11 tickets
A special range of great value tickets are available for travel on the X11. These tickets can be purchased in advance on the Go North East app or on board the bus from your friendly bus driver.

Our X11 tickets includes travel on any connecting Go North East buses, and we also throw in a free ride on the Beachcomber open-top bus that runs all along Scarborough sea front and can take you to Alpamare and Sea Life.
Multi-operator Network One and Explorer tickets, as well as any other Go North East tickets, are not valid for travel on the X11 service. Concessionary holders can travel at the discounted concession rate – just show the driver your bus pass.
