Heading to Saltwell Park Fireworks Spectacular? Save time and money with GNE

One of the region's biggest fireworks displays will be returning to Saltwell Park on Saturday 2 November.
As parking near the site is restricted, Go North East are offering a special bus service to the display.
The special F1 shuttle bus will depart from Stand D at Gateshead Interchange and stop outside the park entrance on Durham Road. The buses will run every ten minutes from 4:30pm until 8:00pm. Buses back from Saltwell Park will run frequently from 8:50 pm until 9:40pm. Fares are only £2 for an adult single, £1 for 21 and under single and £0.60 for a child single with a POP card. All other tickets will be accepted (including the TNE Day Rover tickets), except ENCTS passes and Kids Go Free, which will not be accepted. Click to see the full timetable.
GNE's regular services, Voltra 53 and Voltra 54, which stop in Newcastle city centre, Gateshead and near Saltwell Park, will also be running.
Further links to central Newcastle and Gateshead, and also Chester-le-Street, Birtley, Durham and Bishop Auckland, will be available through our frequent 21/X21 services which run along Durham Road. Additionally, service 69 links Saltwell Park to Felling and Wardley in the east, and Lobley Hill, Whickham, Swallwell, Blaydon and Winlaton in the west- so wherever you are planning on travelling to the display from, Go North East have got you covered!
Doors to the park open at 4pm and the fireworks display kicks off at 8:30pm.
As well as a fantastic fireworks display, expect fairground rides for the whole family to enjoy, entertainment from local performers and a huge selection of hot food and drinks.
Tickets start at £8 per person, with family tickets available from £25 (family of 4, 2 x adults 2 x children).
