Santa is coming and we’ve got your festive travel plans covered!
Whether you’re going to the match, visiting family or friends in the region, off to sing carols that would put Mariah Carey to shame, or heading to the Christmas Market for festive food and mulled wine, we’ll get you there!

Here’s our guide to service levels for the Christmas and New Year period…
Service will run as normal on most routes, click here to search for your service to find out what times it will be running until.
Christmas Eve – buses will run to a normal school holiday Tuesday timetable, but with the majority of last departures between 6pm and 7pm – click here to search for your service to find out when it will be running until on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day - there are no buses on Christmas Day.
Boxing Day – Some services will be operating special timetables on Boxing Day. View timetables by selecting your service and changing the date to 26 December and clicking 'update' - View our Boxing Day timetables
On Friday 27 December, most services will run to a Saturday timetable, with the following exceptions:
- S2 will operate its normal Friday timetable
- There will no departures on service 74 after 19:00
- The NHS ‘hopper’ shuttle service (for NHS staff only) will operate its normal Monday to Friday timetable
Buses will run to normal Saturday timetables.
Buses will run to normal Sunday timetables.
On Monday 30 December, most services will run to a Saturday timetable, with the following exceptions:
- The S2 will operate its normal Friday timetable
- There will no departures on service 74 after 19:00
- The NHS ‘hopper’ shuttle service (for NHS staff only) will operate its normal Monday to Friday timetable
- The N21 will not operate
New Year’s Eve – most buses will run to Saturday timetables, but with the majority of last departures between 6pm and 7pm. The NHS ‘hopper’ shuttle service will operate its normal Tuesday timetable – click here to search for your service to find out when it will be running until on New Year's Eve.
New Year’s Day – our driving team will be taking a well-earned rest – there are no buses on New Year's Day.
Buses will run to their normal school holiday Monday to Friday timetables.
