9th - 17th December

Join Beamish Museum for a magical evening of traditional festive celebrations with Christmas Evenings on 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th December 2021, from 4.30pm to 9.30pm.

Discover a wonderful Christmas past – admire the beautiful decorations, taste scrumptious seasonal food, have a go at creative Christmas crafts, enjoy festive music, Punch and Judy shows and see magical reindeer at the museum.

Visit Father Christmas in his Grotto at Rowley Station Goods Yard (Grotto tickets must be booked in advance online when purchasing evening tickets, subject to availability). Have a go on the rides at The Fairground, visit the stalls in The 1900s Town for all your Edwardian essentials, pop up to Pockerley to learn about a traditional Georgian Christmas and explore Christmas festivities in The 1900s Pit Village and 1950s welfare hall.

Discover how the festive season was celebrated from the 1820s right the way through to the 1950s with a special Christmas Evening at Beamish – the perfect way to count down to the big day!

This is a separate ticketed evening event – Beamish Unlimited Passes and Friends of Beamish memberships are not valid for evening events.

Although Beamish's Christmas Evening events have now sold out, you can still visit the museum during the day.
